4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup Vs PSV Eindhoven- The 4th Official

Arsenal host PSV Eindhoven at the Emirates Stadium this Thursday night as they try to earn a home run in the Europa League. The Gunners’ 2-1 win over FC Zurich last week will give them momentum ahead of this game.

Mikel Arteta will likely set up his side in a 4-3-3 formation and may be inclined to keep changes to a minimum for this European home clash. As such, Eddie Nketiah will once again have the opportunity to impress as a center.

4-3-3 Arsenal’s planned line-up against PSV Eindhoven

defense

Matt Turner could have another chance to impress as Arsenal’s main goalkeeper. Gabriel will resume his centre-back partnership with Rob Holding in the center of the Gunners’ defense as they appear to be consistent throughout the 90 minutes.

Takehiro Tomiyasu will try to excel at right-back, while Kieran Tierney is catching the eye on the other side as left-back. They will both have the freedom to express themselves in the opposition half as they look to provide decent support for the players up front.

Ben White will cover Arteta’s defensive positions off the bench.

Midfielder

Arteta has the chance to use the midfield he started in last week’s win over Zurich. As such, we can expect to see Granit Xhaka, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Fabio Vieira in the Gunners’ main midfield on Thursday night.

Martin Odegaard will have to settle for a place on the bench, but if Arteta decides to call on his services, he could leave his mark on the game. However, Thomas Partey remains absent from the London club with a thigh injury.

offensive

Gabriel Martinelli will focus on making the most of his pace down the left flank. Marquinhos played well against Zürich so he should keep his position on the right.

Eddie Nketiah will lead the North London Giants in the attacking third. The England striker will have to carry the burden of scoring most of the goals himself.

Gabriel Jesus will be named on the Arsenal bench and will wait for his chance to grab some attention later in the game if needed.
