Bad Sisters is a dark comedy series created by Sharon Hogan. It is based on the Flemish series “Clan” by Malin-Sarah Gozin. The story tells the story of five sisters who share a strong bond. However, when one of the Graces is domesticated by her husband, the sister decides to do it herself, with disastrous consequences.

The comedy unfolds like a thriller, and the theme of brotherhood predominates. Unlike “Bad Sisters”, the series is about female friendship rather than sisterhood. Like previous shows, however, Dead to Me has a plot that follows the mysterious death of the protagonist’s husband.

The series features Áine’s protective sister, Shona, who plays a key role in the story and allows her to explore sisterhood in unexpected ways. Created by Lisa McGee, “Derry Girls” is a sitcom about a group of friends who navigate their teenage years amid the country’s political upheaval and cultural divide. Likewise, the series is set in Ireland and includes elements of that country’s culture in its fictional narrative, similar to “Bad Sisters”. Good Girls is a crime comedy television series created by Jenna Bans. It stars Christina Hendricks, Rita and Mae Whitman. It follows three suburban Michigan mothers who struggle to make ends meet. As a result, the girls commit a series of crimes in order to make money, leading them to lead a dangerous but secret double life.

The layered and nuanced collection strikes a balance between found brotherhood and blood brotherhood, making it a unique addition to this list. Additionally, its dark comedy and treatment of its abusive male characters is similar to Bad Girls. Crime is also an under-the-radar theme of the series and “Bad Sisters.” Thus, the previous series “Good Girls” took the top spot on this list!
