9/11 memorial ceremony in Lower Manhattan

LOWER MANHATTAN (PIX11) – Sunday marked the 21st anniversary of the hijacking of four planes by terrorists, two of which crashed into the World Trade Center in lower Manhattan.

The program included a minute’s silence to commemorate some events of 9/11, beginning at 8:46 a.m. when the first plane crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
