Everton Players Rated In Derby Draw Vs Liverpool- The 4th Official

Everton hosted Liverpool at Goodison Park earlier today as they searched for a good result in the Merseyside derby. The Toffees got off to a good start and went into half-time with zero goals.

The two Merseyside clubs battled for a second-half win but eventually drew off. The match ended with Frank Lampard’s side drawing 0-0 at home to their rivals.

Let’s take a look at how each Everton player performed against the Reds.

G: Jordan Pickford – 8/10

The England keeper made a number of important saves from behind and was lucky to keep his clean sheet intact.

AR: Nathan Patterson – 7/10

Patterson defended his box well and had a brilliant moment in the final third. It was his standout performance in the Merseyside derby.

DC: Conor Cody – 7/10

Cody made a lot of important clearances in his own half, unfortunately his goal was ruled out for offside.

DC: James Tarkovsky – 7.5/10

He didn’t hesitate to put his foot in the ball when needed and made a few key interceptions in the backcourt.

GM: Vitaly Mikorenko – 6.5/10

Miklenko served his defensive duties well, but lacked a lead in the attacking third.

WC: Tom Davis – 6.5/10

He was full of energy and ran in the middle of the park. Davies unfortunately hit the crossbar on a first-half attempt and was substituted after an hour into the derby.

Centimeters: Amaduo Nana – 7.5/10

Onana fell into solid tackles and made life very difficult for Liverpool in midfield.

Centimeters: Alex Iwobi – 6.5/10

He cleared his defense as needed and created a great opportunity in the final third.

AD: Gray Demarais – 7/10

Gray had a few spirited moments in the attacking half but lacked quality in front of Liverpool’s goal.

ST: Neil Mope – 6/10

He sets up meaningful opening lines for others around him, but squanders good scoring opportunities.

LW: Anthony Gordon – 6.5/10

The England striker has caused some problems for opposing defenders and deserves credit for occupying promising positions in the attacking third. In the 81st minute he ran out of gas and was replaced.

Centimeters: Idrissa Geyer – 6.5/10

After coming off the bench, he added energy to Everton’s midfield.

RW: Dwight McNeill – N/A

McNeil didn’t have enough time to make an impact in the game.
