Family calls police after finding coyote hiding in their bathroom – Brospar Daily News

Trenton police received an unusual call Friday morning when they found a coyote hiding in a resident’s bathroom. Police received a call around 5am saying there was an animal in the bathroom on the first floor of their home and they didn’t want to go near it. When the police arrived on the scene, they were surprised to find an adult coyote hiding in the bathroom behind the toilet. Police said the coyotes entered the home through an open front door an hour earlier as the family left their car after unloading for a trip. Police said the family even used the bathroom, unsure where the coyote was hiding. Police were able to safely remove the coyote and release him unharmed. Police said the call was a good reminder to residents to make sure they remember small pets and animals at night.
