Kyle Busch still seeking on-track success, job for 2023 – Brospar Daily News

For Kyle Busch, there didn’t seem to be much of a problem this year until his engine failed with 22 laps to go in the NASCAR playoff opener. Busch dominated at Darlington and took the lead with 155 laps in what should have been a well-deserved victory. He’s had a bad season and 10 playoff races could be the last days of his career with Joe Gibbs’ team. The only active driver with multiple championship titles failed to secure a new contract with Gibbs, who has driven with Gibbs since 2008 and won two cups while building Toyota’s most successful fleet of trucks. M&M Mars will leave NASCAR at the end of the year, and JGR was unable to find a replacement sponsor for Busch, who offered below market value to complete the deal.
