Fayetteville, North Carolina — A violent accident involving three cars in Fayetteville on Sunday evening killed one person and injured several.
Two motorcyclists saw the accident on S Reilly Road near Northumberland Street around 8pm.
Video they captured at the scene showed a car engulfed in flames.
Fayetteville police say it was caused by drunk driving by 30-year-old Travis Greene.
Green hit a car from behind, ran through the middle and hit another car.
A passenger in that car, Angela Thomas, 64, was rushed to hospital but died of her injuries.
We know that the motorcyclist who filmed the video helped pull some people out of the car after the crash.
Fayetteville police are continuing to investigate the accident and told WRAL News that charges will be announced soon.
